As Vice President, National Sales, Chuck Anderson is responsible for the Regional Brokerage Director and Manager team at Prudential Brokerage.  

Chuck's background is unique in that he was the first home office employee assigned to Prudential Brokerage when the division was formed in 1987.   Given his management role in the start-up, he has experience in many aspects of the business (including New Business, Policy Service, Commissions, Marketing and Technology).   His 20+ year Prudential career was interrupted in 2000 by a two-year assignment at Allianz Life where he worked as a senior executive assigned to develop the company's Ebusiness plans and strategies.

Ming-Fen Wang, Thrivent Financial For Lutherans - Vice President for Information Technology Architecture and Engineering Services

Ming-Fen Wang serves as vice president for information technology (IT) architecture and engineering services for Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. In this role, she is responsible for maturing the architecture management discipline, managing information and data services, providing application engineering and integration services, and designing Web solutions for members, field, and corporate employees. Ms. Wang joined Thrivent Financial in 2006.

Joan has been named among the “Top 4% of Wealth Managers” according to Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine, January 2008. She is a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones having been in their Chanhassen, MN branch office since 1997. Prior to joining Edward Jones she held several management positions at Hartford Financial Services, Inc. in Hartford, CT. and the Vice President post of individual life insurance operations at Harford Financial Services, Inc. in Plymouth, MN.

Today she joins us to enlighten us of the ways of Financial Fraud, how to spot the scam and what to do to avoid becoming a victim.

Al Parsons joined the Insurance Federation of Minnesota as its president & chief executive officer in July 1994. He came to the Federation with many years of experience in the insurance industry. Al worked in Washington, DC, as vice president of a consulting firm and senior vice president of a major national insurance trade association. Prior to his work in Washington, he was a second vice president and director of corporate communications for Lincoln National Corporation in Fort Wayne, Indiana, then the nation’s 15th largest diversified financial service company and among the nation’s largest health and life insurers.

Steve Kloyda founded Telemasters, Inc. in 1990. Since 1990, Steve has listened to and analyzed more than 25,000 telephone sales and customer service calls. Applying the knowledge gathered, he created The Telemasters System, a unique process for achieving superior results on the telephone. Steve Kloyda began his sales career in 1980 as a stockbroker. In a highly competitive business where the telephone can often lead to frustration, Steve learned to develop the skills and disciplines needed to produce phenomenal results. In only eight months, he had opened 180 new accounts from cold calls, along with setting a company record of nine in one day! In 1989, Steve joined a local sales training organization as Vice President of Sales.

Bob Senkler graduated in 1974 from the University of Minnesota – Duluth with a B.A. In Math.

Responsibilities

Bob has been with Minnesota Life for over 25 years, starting as an actuarial trainee in the Individual Insurance division in 1974. Bob became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in 1979 and joined Minnesota Life's senior management team five years later as second vice president of Individual Actuarial. By 1987, Bob was vice president and actuary, Individual Insurance. In 1994, he was named president and chief executive officer, and one year later, Bob was elected chairman of the board.

Bob began his career at Minnesota Life following his graduation from St. Olaf College in 1990 with B.A. degrees in Mathematics and Economics.  He obtained his ASA designation in 1992, his FSA designation in 1994 and his CLU designation in 1996.

Other Experience

Following graduation from St. Olaf, Bob joined the Individual Actuarial Life Unit before joining Securian Advisor Services in November of 1993.  After spending six years on marketing of the life products and product development, Bob returned to the Actuarial department in late 1999.
